Greetings Fellow Dancers!
It's love month again. This newsletter is dedicated to all who love music and dancing! This month I have 4 dance parties for you to share the love.
I have just returned from teaching on the Stardust Dance Cruise where I met a lot of nice people and now I am really motivated to get our dance cruise out of NY on the way. It's so wonderful to be on the sea! Who is ready to cruise?
Thank you to all who attended the our Sadie Hawkins Valentine's Party at Club 412 last Saturday. It was a great turnout and the music in all three rooms with DJ's, Johnny O, Jeff Stennett and Peter was fabulous!
*NEW STUFF*... I am very blessed to have 2 successful dances with YSBD at CLUB 412 every month that people love. I also enjoy having dance parties at clubs or restaurant as we did 'back in the day'. I can tell many of you enjoy this as well as I have had many requests to continue my dances at the beautiful and elegant IL CAMPANELLO. They will finish renovations this week and I will be able to get back to you shortly as to when the next dance party will be scheduled at this lovely place...stay tuned!
Here are two new nights per month to get out of the dance studios, get out of that tee shirt and have a night out on the town (or wear the tee shirt if you really want to!)
We started off this new year with a kickoff to my new parties called MILLENNIUM FRIDAYS!
First party was at BACKSTAGE Night Club in January. Even though the temperatures outside were in the single digits that night, Nelson Roman's music inside was hot, hot, hot. Everyone loved it and is looking forward to the next party at Backstage which is next Friday, Feb 20th (info below)
**BRAND NEW PARTY** MILLENNIUM FRIDAYS at IGUANA Restaurant and Night Club! (info below). Great Mexican Restaurant downstairs and we have the entire upstairs where the bar menu is served until 2am.
DJ's NELSON ROMAN & FRANKLIN AYALA playing sets of Hustle with latin sets from 9pm-2am for dancing on 2 wooden dance floors and a beautiful full size cash bar with 25 different kinds of margaritas and mojitos.
Yes, our country is in a recession, but can we still keep dancing??? The answer is "YES, WE CAN!" (Sorry, guys, could not resist going there). My new dances this month are recession priced at only, check it out...$10.
***These dance parties are the best deal for fighting the recession blues by meeting up with friends and making new ones with 4-5 hours of unadulterated dancing fun***
Yes, my friends, to answer your questions, we are still booked at the NY Hilton, Labor Day weekend for the 5th Annual New York Hustle Congress 2009.
Lastly, calling all animal lovers...I have dedicated 2009 to doing more to help animals that are abused, abandoned and in need. As part of doing this, I have joined and contributed to most of the major groups created to help animals. I recently received an email containing a horrific picture of 12 dogs that had been collected by the Animal Shelter in Buffalo that had been left outside to freeze to death. I called my friends crying feeling so helpless because I didn't know what I could do to help. Today I received an email from PETA asking to sponsor a Dog House for these poor animals to help prevent future suffering of this kind. I feel better knowing there is an organization that is taking steps to help. It is have copied the link below for PETA's new program and video called Angels for Animals- "Forgotten' for those of you who have a heart to take action as I do.
